"If Christ has died for me - ungodly as I am, without strength as I am - then I can no longer live in sin, but must arouse myself to love and serve Him who has redeemed me. I cannot trifle with the evil that killed my best Friend. I must be holy for his sake. How can I live in sin when He has died to save me from it?"
Charles Spurgeon, who led a mission in Kington which resulted in the construction of our building.
We’re delighted to be able to let you know that we are resuming our Sunday morning services at 10.45.
All who are able to attend will of course be most welcome. At the same time we fully understand that all may not feel it wise to venture out. We assure you of our continued prayers and support.
But if you do feel OK about meeting I’ll be delighted to see you.
We will of course keep to covid-safe rules.

Kington Baptist Church (KBC) – we are a company of people from varied backgrounds who love and trust the Lord Jesus Christ and aim to support one another in love and friendship.
KBC has a history that embraces over 200 years of Christian witness. Whilst rooted in the Baptist tradition we are privileged to work together with our Christian brothers and sisters from other churches in the town to spread the good news of God’s love and grace and cooperate together in Churches Together Kington [CTK].
We are few in number but warm-hearted and welcoming. Our worship is simple, friendly and Christ-centred. When you visit you will be made most welcome – and we would be delighted were you to stay after our service for coffee, tea and a chat.
